Meet our mascot, Stellaluna!
She is the most perfect and most deviant kitten. She is named after the 1993 children’s book, “Stellaluna” by Janell Cannon. That story was frequently read to me as a child in school and remains my favorite children’s book that I remember. It is about a young fruit bat that gets separated from her mom and finds a family of birds to grow up with. It is very similar to the Disney story of Tarzan which I also love very much. However, she goes primarily by “Luna” after the black cat advisor of Sailor Moon. My top favorite show as a kid! I grew up always wanting to be some sort of superhero princess and she was the best of both worlds. I am entering my thirties now;
